Jiade TLL Tension Leveling line ---a smart choice

Tension leveling lines are used to eliminate wave shapes and adjust functions of cold rolled coils through two bending and one straightening or two bending and two straightening processes.

If necessary, the static coating oil machine could be deployed, which can make coils clean and flat.

Jiade offers tension leveling lines for strip widths from 350 mm to 2500 mm and thickness ranging from 0.02 – 4.0 mm, applicable for mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum materials.

Tension leveling lines significantly improve the flatness quality of ferrous and non-ferrous cold rolled coils.

A typical tension leveling line consists of two payoff reels followed by two entry shears, a strip welder, entry bridle rolls, Tension Leveler, exit bridle rolls, an exit shear and a take up reel.

High speed tension leveling line will also install accumulators after the strip welder and before the exit shear to avoid line shutdown during splicing operations. Many tension leveling lines are equipped with temper mills for thickness control and Side Trimmers to trim strip edges. The leveling process takes place between entry and exit bridle rolls. The strip is tensioned beyond its yield point while passing through the tension Leveler. The tension generated by bridle rolls stretches the strip by 0.5% to 2% to achieve perfect flatness, same as stretch levelers. Many tension leveling lines are fitted with electrostatic oilers after leveling to prevent strip surface corrosion.

The tension levelling system consists of three core parts: inlet bridle rolls, leveling units and outlet bridle rolls. The equipment is customized according to material type (steel / aluminium) and processing thickness to reach optimal flatness performance. The leveling unit is the core component, composed of immersion rolls, anti cross-bow rolls and anti coil-set rolls (1 or 2 sets optional).

Strip stretching is realized by speed difference between inlet and outlet bridle rolls. The tension control system is fully automatic, driven by high-precision servo motors.
